There are three stories about all this. The first is not addressed here. That "The Media" whether MSNBC, CNN, NYT etc defends Rupert Murdoch for his innovation in keeping the media vibrant and meaningful and helping them make money.
The second issue is that little clip from Fox News where they refuse to comment on this the biggest news story in the world. An example of just how odious the lie is that they are fair and balanced.
And the third issue which is the real problem. That scroll of media outlets Murdoch and News Corp own and control to push their right-wing swill either blatantly or quietly.
Like Clear Channel control of radio doing the same through AM radio.
The problem is much like how we have more empathy for the billionaire Koch Brothers than middle class teachers. We have accepted ownership of most of the media by only a few entities as a GOOD THING.
What’s left? McClatchey seems to be about it… Oh, and IN THESE TIMES.
