We can only hope that Toure is correct when he says ‘We are in the moment of Herman Cain, and in the era of Obama." It is obvious by now that Republicans will elect anyone by any means, just to gain residence in the White House again!
While Toure arrives at entertaining similarities between Cain and Flava Flav, I see one important difference – other than the obvious sartorial choices. Flav – whom some of you might recall from early rap group "Public Enemy" doesn’t take his character seriously, nor is he pursued by desperate Republicans. Flav knows it’s an act. Cain is not similarly in touch with his inner circus performer.
