Seth Meyers takes a closer look at Trump’s ever-changing story about why he fired James Comey and the latest GOP tactics for promoting their health care bill that could leave 22 million people uninsured, and make America’s most wealthy citizens even jollier than they are right now!
Seth Meyers quips: “The ONLY way this bill could be more evil is if it mandated tying damsels in distress to railroad tracks.”
Trump has been playing a game of ‘where are the “tapes” – his version of shaking shiny keys to distract us, while Republicans take from the poor, the elderly, addicts,Planned Parenthood, Medicaid and the Center for Disease Control, to give lots of money to the wealthy!
There are a few humorous moments, as Trump – who wouldn’t say the plan was ‘mean’ in public, saw where Obama labeled it correctly as mean, and in Trump style – broadcasted “I said it first!” Obama’s Jedi mind tricks need only be at half power to win at this game.
Kellyanne Conway and other Republicans have let it be known that if Americans insist upon whinging about insurance cuts, they ought to just get a better job! No wonder Conway recently said that she doesn’t see the $800 Billion as ‘cuts’ – I guess you could look at it as $800 Billion in incentives for Americans with disabilities, the aged, and the poor to get out there and get a ‘respectable’ job…Like Kellyanne’s, maybe?
