Seth Meyers and John Oliver discuss a number of topics, but none so surprising and heartwarming as the immediate success of Oliver’s alternative version of the Pence family’s recently released picture book; “Marlon Bundo’s A Day in the Life of the Vice President.” Oliver’s version titled “A Day in the Life of Bundo Bunny” is different in that Marlon is gay and falls in love with another boy bunny. The two are married in a lovely ceremony. The only negative is a stink bug preaching damnation from on high, which bears an unmistakable resemblance to Mike Pence.
Pence and his friend James Dobson are appallingly homophobic. The latter is the founder of ‘Focus on the Family.’ an organization that pretends to protect the sanctity of marriage by shaming gay boys and men, trying to force them into heterosexuality. If more insight into Dobson’s mission is necessary,. Dobson once joked that the organization is called “Poke Us In the Fanny,”
The astonishing news to Oliver is that the Bundo Bunny book sold out within hours, and holds the number one best selling spot in the country, besting even James Comey’s new tell-all!
