Sitcoms sure have fallen of late. They seem to have lost their hook, the successful ones all seem to have had a silly sidekick as the real star of the show: Major Burns, Barney Fife, Ted Knight, Chrissy, Morey and Sal, Eddie Haskel, HOLY CRAP, Humphries, Potsie, Lenny and Squiggy, Horshank, Kramer, Wojohoitz, Marcy and the list goes on. Have to give Don Knots the win on this one. I suppose we are attracted to these kind of characters because it feels so good seeing someone dumber than we are. Speaking of George W Bush, he sure looks good compared to what may be coming for the GOP.
