I have a well amplified 12″ woofer that we take out of the car and put in the boat when we go out in it. It’s now the only place I do my 10 volume music. The fish don’t care. In fact cobia like it and come up to hear it better. The especially like bass and bass drum so ACDC is their favorite band.
We did the new ACDC album going down the bayou yesterday to find, per usual, that since 1991 nothing great there. Well “Play Ball” almost has a hook and will probably become a classic soccer game song in Australia and Great Britain. But then again the same can be said of my other favorite bands the Rolling Stones and ZZ TOP. ZZ TOP hits stopped cold in 1981 while ACDC and the STONES hits stopped in 1991. Nothing there since ELIMINATOR, RAZOR’S EDGE or VOODOO LOUNGE. That’s 35 years for one and almost 25 years without a hit from big hitmakers. And they are certainly not alone. Does the creative ability just get all used up by time? Or… Do the hits stop when dicks go soft?
