President Obama crossed into the Jupiter, Fla galaxy last week."Tom Burns of Jupiter, Fla., showed up for the president’s appearance dressed as Darth Vader. Explaining his costume, Burns said, "May the force be with ‘we the people’ — that’s basically my message. … I’m here today
because I’m a very concerned American." Another Jupiter patriot called out at the President’s motorcade, "Obama is a maniacal idiot!"
I mention the incidents from Jupiter, merely to explain part of the reason potential attendees of the big Nashville convention have discovered there is enough ire remaining from attacks
on The Left, to share while attacking convention main mover Judson Phillips and spokesman Mark Skoda. The big first annual tea party scene in Nashville isn’t lining up to be polite discourse, Spode china, and petit fours. These are people who have been meeting and expressing their views free of charge, thank you. Organizer Nashville attorney Judson Phillips, and Mark Skoda, Memphis-based "community activist" and spokesman for the event claim they’re barely breaking even, while attacks roll in from Right Wing blogs like Erick Erickson’s RedState, among others calling it "scammy," The price of admission being $549. plus
an extra $349 if you wish to hear the keynote speaker, whose initials are Sarah Palin.
A major hit for organizers were the last minute drop out by two crazies, otherwise known as popular speakers, Marsha Blackburn R-TN,and Michelle Bachmann R-MN, both of whom are known to speak without invitation, reimbursement, and often need to be pulled off stage with an old fashioned Vaudeville-type hook. I wonder why they bailed at the last minute? What a fortunate choice in asking Sarah Palin to be the $150,000 Keynote speaker, all is not lost…if you don’t consider those asking for refunds or the seats not yet filled.
