Senator Bernie Sanders appeared with Seth Meyers to address his dispirited followers and urge them to look at the issues affecting them before throwing away their vote on Donald Trump, Jill Stein or an even more hilarious write-in candidate.
Sanders stressed that voters should choose a candidate based entirely on the issues, not a personality – which is where media has placed the focus. Sanders let it be known that you don’t have to like the candidate if they stand for issues that will make a positive change in your life.
If free college tuition, student loan debt relief, more community health centers and a higher minimum wage will make your life better – you really only have one choice that makes sense.
It sounds as though campaigning against Bernie gave Hillary some impetus to lean toward college financing and minimum wage increases. I don’t know whether Bernie influenced Clinton on the inequality of the law regarding marijuana yet – but he’s still an influential Senator. Our only job to make sure we don’t elect a presidential roadblock for Bernie.
