. There is more to this O’Reilly / Krauthammer back and forth than just the fun of watching the rancor between a highbrow conservative intellectual neocon and a loudmouth lowbrow conservative buffoon.
There is even more to it than the general argument that dominates most all Republican discourse – that first comes the conclusion followed by premises that try to prove their already arrived at conclusion.
And even more to it than O’Reilly’s silly call of Reverse McCarthyism. That would mean that “Hollywood” is having televised public hearings to find and names of Trump supporters to throw in jail, fire from their present jobs and put on a lifetime blacklist. How absurd, about 95% of artists and entertainers do not want to put their name anywhere near President Buffoon while the 5% of conservative celebrities are either far too untalented to be invited or are smart enough to not want history to put a TRUMP stamp on their forehead. You know for after we recover from the GREAT depression and GREAT war.
No, none of that silliness is new, what we see here in Bill O’Reilly is the reflection of the Trump voters.
Bill O’Reilly is the most popular pundit on TV. Rush Limbaugh is the most popular pundit on the radio. Donald Trump won the election. The base commonality of all three cannot be denied by either side. All three are extremely wealthy old white men, bigots, sexists, vindictive, obnoxious narcissists who don’t give a crap about anything but themselves.
With most Americans no longer voting for policy or issues any longer, but with their gut feelings and who whose CHARACTER is most like their own. CHARACTER MATTERS as Limbaugh has been screeching for 28 years on the radio to defend all his lies, personal attacks andname calling.
The real textbook logic?
Premise 1 – Donald Trump is an obnoxious, narcissistic, vindictive, know-nothing, sexist bigot.
Premise 2 – Donald Trump voters vote for who the believe is most like them.
Conclusion – Donald Trump voters are obnoxious, narcissistic, vindictive, know-nothing, sexist bigots.
Reach out to them, with a bowling ball.
