In Klan news: Jessica Black says her 7-year old son Jackson will proudly wear his KKK costume again next Halloween. Black is the center of an angry backlash in her hometown of Craigsville,VA. Neighbors, have expressed their shock and dismay on national television. If the kid has any sense he’ll realize that dressing like Miley Cyrus will get him more candy and fewer closed doors next year.
Mom fashioned the costume, which is modeled on the hood, sheet and emblems of the White Supremacist group. She now claims it’s a ‘family tradition.’ Jackson’s brother wore the charming family costume when he was in kindergarten and again at age 13…A Kodak moment. Black says “There is nothing wrong with the costume or with the White Supremacist group, which she says still exists in their town. Jackson was partly influenced after seeing the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes,” an odd pick. If you haven’t seen the film, the Klan isn’t portrayed in a heroic or flattering manner…They are however portrayed realistically.
Here’s the clincher, Mrs. Black tells us how it’s ‘supposed to be,’ but not who decided upon these rules. “It’s supposed to be white with white, black with black, man with woman and all of that. That’s what the KKK stands for.”
What? No bees and birds speech! It goes “Birds don’t marry bees and fish don’t go with badgers”…You can improvise. It’s a classic argument among racists, guaranteed to stop any silly thought of racial ‘mixing.’
