Mark Twain Controversy | ||||
|
What is so very silly about the complaints about this revised edition of Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn substituting "slave" for the "Nword" is
that none of the complaints were allowed to use the "Nword" in the discussion.
Except for Larry Wilmore! Who said "You can’t runaway from being a Nword" But he used the real word, which even I, writing about this controversy in a little blog from Dumbutt, Texas, cannot use or Google will give me a thumbs down. And again, this is NOT censorship unless the book replaces the original by force. I think Wilmore did a good job of making this whole thing as shallow and funny as it should be. Jon Stewart also did well as the only voice I have heard thus far expressing the other side.
