Actually, Conan and friends did manage to perform a range of comedy this year. Some are certain to be the Best of 2011 and of anytime – ever! Far be it from me to be a spoiler, but there are animals with eerily human emotions, and sports involving the biggest rack (of man boobs) you’ve ever seen. Andy Richter prevents the return of ‘Hal’ the sentient computer by nipping it right in the bud. Ricky Gervais drops in to talk about Joe Galiano’s (Royal Wedding inspired) hats until the cows quite literally come home… But Conan’s pants don’t quite make it back in time. Hint: send the children out to freshen your beverage glasses during this segment. Moral: Into the life of every genius a pair of pants must fall – or something like that.
