It hums across Right-wing radio, it dominates conservative websites, it’s the number one conservative talking point of the week, and America’s most pressing problem. It began a couple years ago with a best selling novel (unbeknownst to conservatives novels are fiction) by Tom Clancy about a gang of Muslim terrorists who crossed the Rio Grande to destroy Chicago. This month with the bust of the Fort Dix Six planning to attack the 14,000 American Troops there, they have gone bonkers with it. The Fair and Balanced and oh so credible Fox News reported:

From that nameless unsubstantiated source the conservative world of radio and web went ballistic. Turn on Rush Limbaugh and its all you hear. Terrorists coming across the Southern border! I did a Google search of “Fort Dix border or immigration” to see if any other news agency or anyone for that matter had worked this issue or substantiated it in any manner. I stopped after the first 90 results, all who sited that Fox News blurb or any reference to the Fort Dix Six coming from Mexico were from a conservative Blog or Website. Every single one, 90 in a row. And its ALL right-wing talk radio is talking about.
First we have to accept what Fox News says from an unnamed and unsubstantiated source, but more importantly, we have to accept that children between the ages of 1 and 6 are terrorists, and that our terrorist threat comes from border crossings from 23 years ago. It is not called Crazyass Fox News for nothing.
