This touches on perhaps the most important issue that drives the Right-wing swill we witness everyday. Bill Maher calls it living inside the bubble, or the old art of the three monkeys reduced to two, for as Heaven knows, they most certainly don’t have a hand over their mouths.
They do not stray out of their bubble. It’s all Fox News, Talk Radio, Brietbart, Blaze, WND, Newsmax all the time. Think of all the things the never see or hear. All Things Considered, Morning Edtion, Nova, Frontline, PBS, NPR and most any music, art, or literature worth a crap.
On the other hand I and most liberals I know delve into Fox News, listen to Rush Limbaugh, and visit WND.
So often I see something that I know would change their WORLDVIEW but I know there is no chance of them watching it or listening to it. After all, if they change, it is an admission that they were wrong up to that point. Their character will not allow that. It’s the nature of the Beast.
