Donald Trump temporarily lost control of a noisy crowd in New Hampshire recently, when a heckler yelled “This is boring! It’s boring, tell some jokes!” Trump, who maintains strict control over his audiences, and brooks no critical outbursts – or silent Muslims, had difficulty being heard in the uproar which ensued as the offending comedy critic was removed from the hall. Some attendees cheered, others booed and a chorus broke out singing a cover of “Na-Na-Na-Na Good-bye.”
Fortunately, Trump was breaking no new ground, subsequently nothing new was missed by those who could not hear him over the temporary din. Trump can be heard saying “There’s nothing funny about this” and breaking into an old standard about how bad things are, and how many problems we have. One observer was heard saying; “If he wanted to hear jokes, he should have just stayed quiet and listened to Trump talk.”
The heckler may have used the word ‘boring’ because Trump frequently uses the word ‘boring’ as an insult, as he did in the Samuel L. Jackson dust-up last week.
