This crap has been infiltrating the PC and console game market for quite some time. Buying a game for $50 and then charging people real money to buy unreal things in the unreal world. Word is out that the much anticipated Diablo 3 is going to take this crap to the limit. Pay $10 on your credit card for a fancy sword to beat your online competitors.
But Tapfish takes the cake because it is directed at children, it is on a tablet so kids as young as 4 or 5 can download the free APP by just putting their finger on it, then play it, and then put their finger on BUY which Mom and Dad have filled out an APP for one click payments. And to top it off, the kids are paying to keep their pet fish from dying or to bring them back to life. This is about as low as capitalism goes. And the guy is making a million dollars a week instead of a million years in jail.
