The idea presented by Hal Rounds, proud attorney for the Tennessee Tea-Dummies is too preposterous to take seriously. History and science books are a hash of revised silliness as it is, but the Tea Party would eliminate vast chunks of history involving slave ownership, and the less-than kindly treatment of Native Americans as well.
Needless to say, I was astonished when comedian Deon Cole – a Black American, saw a chance to benefit from the idea of erasing slavery on the part of the Founding Fathers. It turns out that there are a few things and people in recent black history that Cole wouldn’t mind erasing from our collective memory as well. Truthfully, hadn’t you almost forgotten about Milli Vanilli?
