I would never vote for Donald Trump, but of the Republican candidates running for president I think he would be the lesser 15 evils. Of course the horror of him winning would be the same as any of them winning, taking control of the executive, House, Senate, holding the Supreme Court for another generation and down ballot gaining more governors and state legislatures. But that puts him on even footing with the rest.
What makes Donald Trump more acceptable is that he is not a conservative ideologue as the rest of them are, he is about as far removed from evangelical Christianity as I am, he is open to single payer health care, is not locked into supply side and free market economics and he does know how to build things, negotiate and get things done.
All the awfulness about The Donald mostly concerns things he cannot actually accomplish even with a Republican congress. So what the Hell. And boy oh boy would be a fun ride for four years, let me tell you!
The most dangerous man in American is Ted Cruz. He would be our first actual emigration president to millions, including me, who just found a good place to go!
