As John Oliver said, Wednesday night was the last chance for Trump and Clinton to show that they can elevate the tone of this presidential campaign. The tone didn’t rise, as you know. The campaign sank like the Titanic, after launching several memorable phrases and memes. Does it seem that Trump protested too much about his fanboy adoration of Putin? If not too much, then he surely protested heatedly and out of turn, as if outshouting Hillary could make it not true. The words:”No! you’re a puppet!” will live in infamy. The phrases #BadHombres and #NastyWoman may be the legacy of the 2016 presidential race. A last-ditch attempt to appeal to the anti-choice crowd was breath-taking in stupidity.
John hilariously shows how Trump may well have been answering questions from the moderators (or his own drummer) correctly.
