This is not just about how the millionaires and billionaires have walked all over us since Ronald Reagan declared war on the United States government in 1981, but an enlightening discussion on student loans. The US government made $66 billion on student loan interest in just five years, about the amount of time it takes to get a college degree. And that’s not counting what the private sector hauls in. As Ms Warren tells us, that is absurd, we should be not charging interest at all, and instead by giving at least that amount to get more of us more educated.
