“Still reeling from the death of its most devout justice, Antonin Scalia, the high court has put preventing discrimination above protecting religion in a series of cases over the past year, from same-sex marriage to abortion and contraception” USA Today article Supreme Court may be converting on religion.
Though the most activist and right-wing Supreme Court justice in American history, the rollypolly Antonin Scalia, was recently forced into retirement by a wise and activist Lord God we find there are still two of his suckups on the court, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito – who I am sure the same wise and activist Lord God is also watching carefully.
Though all these Religious Freedom bills passed in Republican controlled states are nothing more than a way to discriminate, belittle and humiliate Gay and transgender men and women for the enjoyment of it, there is one great and grand simple truth as to why it is so wrong.
Discrimination is real while religion is make believe.
I might also add that wonderful quote that was so new to me from Reverend Barber at the Democratic Convention:
