‘Everybody Hates Ted Cruz’ is a bouncy little number by Lauren Mayer who invites you to join in singing the praises of the man who achieved the impossible. Cruz united Republicans and Democrats – in their shared hatred of him.
The Ted story on everyone’s mind today, is the ‘New York values’ boo boo. In typical Ted style, he launched an apology tour. Cruz apologized to the people of New York “who’ve been let down by liberal politics.” Cruz also apologized to those “denied jobs because Gov. Cuomo won’t allow fracking,” and to New Yorkers who are “pro-life and pro-marriage and pro-second amendment who were told by Gov. Cuomo they have no place in New York.”
Does Ted think New Yorkers are stupid – too?
Gosh, you want to cut the guy a break, but he just won’t let you.
Ted Cruz claims to be the number one fan of everyone’s favorite fairy-tale romance ‘The Princess Bride,’ often imitating the characters – badly. Mandy Patinkin who played revenge-driven swordsman Inigo Montoya, gave an insightful and moving interview with TIME where he spoke of the movie, Ted Cruz and the Syrian Refugees. Patinkin said he is concerned that Cruz is inappropriately using the film as a political tool, saying; “I’m worried about not what Ted Cruz quotes from the movie, but what he’s missing.”
Patinkin said the most important line in the film, is almost never quoted. The line is near the end of the film, when Inigo Montoya turns to The Man in Black and says:
“You know, it’s very strange. I have been in the revenge business so long, now that it’s over, I don’t know what to do with the rest of my life.”
