I did not fart! FOD

I did not fartIt wasn’t me!  What happens when we get smells over the internet?

I always cover by walking fast. Or saving it up for a crowd or on an elevator where no one knows. But farting is like having only one roommate. You know who took your last banana.

Did you know that the average human farts 22 times a day? Times 7 billion is 150 billion farts per day. Does it ad to Global Warming? Do farts inside buildings escape to the outside?  So many questions. Here is one answer!

The Chemical make up of the average human fart:

Nitrogen: 20-90%
Hydrogen: 0-50% (flammable)
Carbon dioxide: 10-30%
Oxygen: 0-10%
Methane: 0-10% (flammable)

Breaking that down we find that about half of each fart can be used as energy. We need a capture mechanism with a separator and a scrubber to give us a good mix of Hydrogen and Methane with the added help of some oxygen while we remove the CO2. Times 22 may be enough to charge a cell phone? Or we could save it up and sell it.
