The iconic Republican symbol laments about the current state of the GOP, as he packs his trunk and readies to hit the road. Being the GOP symbol isn’t fun anymore. In fact, it could be argued that there is no party unless you wear tea bags. The faithful icon would not leave the party adrift. He knows of a sycophant or two who fit the party’s nasty changes of policy, and one Dumbo named Limbaugh who could easily step into his place without a costume alteration. One thing is certain, the beloved Republican elephant has left the room.
