As for Sam McCletchen, he doesn’t care whether his name is associated with the GOP, the Democratic Party, or the Daughters of the Confederacy – as long as he can hold the office of Vice President. The GOP could, and has done much worse, I hope they don’t hold out too long. The D.O.C. are known to be a great deal more particular.
