We have Breitbart sponsoring the top misogynist bigot in America with Milo Yiannopoulos roaming our universities to ensure no African American or woman will ever vote Republican again. We have Fox News with Bill O’Reilly now sending Jesse Watters out to roam the streets to ensure no Asian will ever vote for a Republican again. And of course The Donald making sure most every day that African Americans, Latinos, Asians, Muslims and women will from now on run from the GOP as fast as they can, all while the RNC gives Trump their undying support. And their answser for the after Trump future? They are happy with the contest now between evangelical rabid pro life homophobes Ted Cruz and Mike Pence. You know, that’s all getting more popular with millennials hey?
This just in: Mitt Romney in 2012 had a 17 point advantage with white people and lost. Today the Donald has only a 13 point advantage with white people, he needs 22 to win, and in no state does he have that, even Mississippi!
We have heard of late of many staunch conservative newspapers endorsing a Democrat for the first time in a hundred years, The Atlantic has now weighed in after only endorsing two candidates since 1857, Abe Lincoln against slavery and LBJ against Goldwater. The Atlantic has now joined all 50 of our major newspapers to endorse Hillary Clinton with this editorial which pretty much says it all:
Donald Trump, on the other hand, has no record of public service and no qualifications for public office. His affect is that of an infomercial huckster; he traffics in conspiracy theories and racist invective; he is appallingly sexist; he is erratic, secretive, and xenophobic; he expresses admiration for authoritarian rulers, and evinces authoritarian tendencies himself. He is easily goaded, a poor quality for someone seeking control of America’s nuclear arsenal. He is an enemy of fact-based discourse; he is ignorant of, and indifferent to, the Constitution; he appears not to read.
Trump is not a man of ideas. He is a demagogue, a xenophobe, a sexist, a know-nothing, and a liar. He is spectacularly unfit for office, and voters—the statesmen and thinkers of the ballot box—should act in defense of American democracy and elect his opponent.
