"If Obama had his way we wouldn’t have gotten Obama" so says Hannity. Besides being an absolute lie, it’s bizarre for Hannity to claim that Bin Laden was Dubya’s victory when Bush stated himself that Bin Laden just ‘wasn’t that big of a priority." In fact, Bush admitted that Bin Laden was far from being on his mind, and soon closed the case on him.
Oddly there was a time when Bin Laden was on Dubya’s mind. In fact, he must have been in contact with him or his family. When all planes were grounded on 9/11, Bush made one exception, for all of Bin Laden’s large and far-flung family to fly out. I guess he lost interest on 9/12.
Hannity unwisely wants to credit Bush with finding Bin Laden. It’s not true, and the shocking tape is proof that he not only isn’t responsible for getting Bin Laden, but it appears that he may have aided in his escape through benign neglect.
