The lucky tourist who ‘collaborated’ on this film, said: "A seagull stole my video camera in Cannes, France. I found it on the castle wall, where I had to climb to retrieve it." This is truly remarkable in many ways. This is my first time to view a documentary of a bird gone bad – taken by that bird, much less the view of Cannes from literally ‘a birds eye view.’ The seagull then dutifully leaves the camera, complete with his own portrait and commentary. Could it be that he, like many who travel to Cannes, wishes to present his own independent film? I hope he makes it; if not, perhaps he’ll be present to make his feelings on other films known, in his own special low-tech way .
