"Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let’s try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well." Joe Stack’s last words.
It seems Joe Stack was not only in trouble with the IRS but seems he moved from California to Texas because two of his businesses there were suspended by the California Franchise Tax Board. Austin plane crash pilot had ties to Sacramento
Mr. Stack was an equal opportunity hate the government wingnut. Driven by both Ronald Reagan who sanitized this kind of visceral hatred of the American Government, coupled with that intense Cato/Libertarian belief that taxation is not only unconstitutional and socialist but outright theft. Though his online rant was full of hatred at both ends of the political spectrum, it is those on the Right, including the New Senator from Massachusetts Scott Brown, who understand his pain.
Stack could not have been doing too poorly owning a $50,000 plane and the hanger and upkeep fees. Also keep in mind that his new wife and 12 year old step daughter left the home the day before to stay with neighbors.
But even with all that that, he caused the death of only one other person and he had the character to take himself along with his Ronald Reagan Belief System. This makes this TAX-NUT pale in comparison to our most infamous home grown GUN-NUT Tim McVeigh who took out 169 people and was too cowardly to go along with them. Though he did understand that by bravely facing execution he would become a hero in GunAmerica, he was right about that!
There are two profound lies at work in America told by Republicans. That we are over taxed and we need more guns to keep us safe.
We are BY FAR the most gun owning, gun violent, gun crazy nitwits on the planet and also the least taxed nation in the civilized world.
