The attraction to religion comes from the satisfaction that we can accept anything we wish to accept because facts, data, science, rationality, reason and evidence do not enter into it. They have a word for that, faith.

I hope one of the GOP debate moderators asks everyone on stage where Jews go when they die? Perhaps more generally they can ask where do those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior go when they die? And then follow up with “does that include Jews?” And what about Muslims? Where do they go? And Buddhists, Hindus, Chinese and Scientologists?
