“I Got This” Explains Your Favorite TV Shows to Pests: Conan O’Brien

"I Got This" No More Interrupting Your Fav TV Shows to Explain : Conan O'Brien
“I Got This” is a public T.V. watching service brought to you by Conan O’Brien. Let experts like George R.R. Martin from ‘Game of Thrones’ help get the annoying person in your life up to speed on all your favorite shows, without missing a minute! I know this service will save my marriage, and maybe bring peace to your home too! When my husband is deeply involved in a quickly moving series, the last thing he wants to hear from me is “Why is this happening?” or “Who’s that actor, he looks like that guy in the movie we saw last week.”  People get cranky when you just try to get involved!

A simple inquiry such as: “Hey, who’s that girl, have we seen her before, and how’s she related to the guy who’s glowering?” For instance, will put them into a foul mood. It’s just too much trouble to explain Raylan Gibbin’s relationship with his ex-wife and mother to be of his first child, on ‘Justified.’  Why can’t those kids just live together?!  No one seems to know why “Family Guy” and “American Dad” break into song every few minutes…But geez, I was just asking!

At other times, I want to sit nearby, and soon feel that the show he’s watching is lame. I can feel his brain turning to mush. To that end, I’ll volunteer alternative dialogue for (my own) entertainment value, which is completely unappreciated.

If you have a similar dynamic at work, worry no more. With the Premium service, such notables as George R.R. Martin will personally explain it all to that annoying person in your life, with no lapse in your concentration!  Think it over carefully before you call. For those who are hooked on “Hannibal” for instance, I would hope that sexy actor Mads Mikkelsen would show up – out of character of course.

Likewise, for those who can’t quite remember the plot of “Boardwalk Empire” any number of Nuckie’s acquaintances and business partners would be welcome – but Al Capone and the darker characters in the story probably don’t have the big picture, the better to impart the broad view to you.
