James Cordon looks at Hillary Clinton’s tough weekend from the perspective of someone who was in steamy New York at the same time that she was – and he worries that scientists who have debunked the ‘five second rule’ may be right about this too!
By now everyone has talked about the remark Hillary made about half of Trump’s followers. James is right, it only seems fair to say half of Trump’s followers are deplorables, when Trump feels so many other people are ‘deportables.’ Trump immediately produced a new ad after the incident, but it may backfire in a big way. I guess it depends upon how sensitive ‘the other half’ of his supporters are, because they are featured in the ad. See what you think.
Here’s a scientific finding that is of concern to most of us, especially those who’ve ever fed a toddler. Scientists have pronounced the ‘5-second rule’ to be invalid.Your time may vary, but in most homes a tasty morsel gets picked up and eaten when the 5-second rule is called. If you have dogs, you can’t afford to be so leisurely. Anyway, scientists stuck their beaks in this one, so do what you will with the information. On the other hand, you are still alive to read this, so scientists may not have considered important variables. Certainly, the frequency of mopping, washability of the food dropped, and the deliciousness factor are important factors to consider.
