Big fallout is expected from what is being called one of the largest data breaches ever. Hackers broke into retailers, cell phone companies, banks, and hotels gathering millions of email addresses.
It’s likely that the thieves only have your name, address, and email address – at this point. However, you may soon expect to see bogus email which appears to come from your online retail or banking contacts, complete with company logo. They will nicely request some bit of your personal information, such as your social security number – just to ‘update their files’ and offer you better service.
