President Obama’s SOTU Address is Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Pros and Cons’ topic. In this irreverent and bi-partisan comedy segment; on the ‘Pro’ side, Jimmy hits upon some of the President’s exciting plans such as free community college. On the ‘Con’ side, he dives deep into adolescent humor with a marathon of ‘Dick Poop’ jokes…The long-lived award show blunder that just won’t go away. The Seahawks are paired with America’s comeback, and deflated balls could well symbolize some of the tacits Congress has used in the past six years.
Those who didn’t enjoy the delightfully humorous moment when President Obama pointed out that he ‘was not campaigning, as he had already won twice,’ will not enjoy the early shot the White House took toward their favorite ‘news’ network, before the event even began. You should know that I don’t feel that Shepard Smith represents the worst of FOX, he was the one who was elected to attend the event for his network.
Shepard Smith and Brian Williams arrived at the seating for network representatives together, finding their seats via seating cards. The format of the cards read, for example: “Brian Williams NBC News.” Each card listed a name and the affiliated network with ‘news’ behind it. There was only one exception to the format. When Shepard Smith found his seat, the card read: ‘Shepard Smith, FOX.”
You might wonder where the word ‘news’ went – but only if you’re a FOX devotee. It looks as though the President is keeping it real in the last two years of his administration!
