If you were superstitious, you might shy away from so much as passing through a small town 45 miles west of Detroit particularly on Halloween. You certainly wouldn’t give a serious thought to residing in a town with the mysterious name of Hell.
The town turned out to be the luckiest place on earth for John and Sue Wilson this Halloween. Residents of Hell, the Wilsons brought home a $115,001 “treat” from the Michigan Lottery.
I don’t know what the chances are, but I echo Mrs. Wilson’s “How cool is that?” She works as a teacher’s aide, and her husband as an electrician. Like most middle class Americans, they have bills to pay, some home improvements to make, and a video game system to buy for their 13 year old son.
