One may ask who is that majority of Americans have come to accept that we should always give the breaks to the wealthy and the corporations who live so far above the rest of us that they should be considered a different species, while giving those who work their asses off hopping to make ends meet are reviled as "parasites" and "socialists" and such?
Tens of billions of dollars have been spend to create and push mindless soundbites to a mindless populace to mindless appeal. Death taxes, baby killers, God haters, Gun Grabbers, Tree Huggers, Do Gooders, Socialists, Government schools, illegal aliens, tax and spend and now the coup de grace. Even things we pay for like Social Security and Medicare are defined as "Entitlements" meaning GIVEAWAYS that no one deserves.
I can’t think on any soundbites that work from the other side. They are usually contain more than one or two words which Americans do not do well with. And if the Republican success in destroying preschool, primary and secondary education proceeds at the present pace, the future bodes well for words that contain no more than 4 letters each.
And you know these INDEPENDENTS that we once thought were just Republicans who mostly reject all the religious and racial intolerance of the GOP? Well it is not that at all.
