Julian Castro gave one of the most moving speeches at the DNC. While the Romney’s claim to have been scraping by, ironing and selling stock to get by in their student years, Castro’s family was working hard. His mother scrubbed the floors of other people’s homes so that someday her children might gain an education and live the American dream.
In this spoof, we see how Julian Castro makes the big decisions, manages his day and frankly indulges in a bit of vanity with the help of his sassy iPhone Siri. When he asks if he should run for higher office, smoking hot Siri Eva Longoria, slips into a Spanish accent and reveals the answer in no uncertain terms.
“Ay mijo,” she replies. “Of course you should. You were just in the national spotlight. Your momma would slap you with her chanclas for asking such a question. Must we make all of your decisions?” We’ll take that as a ‘Si’ because Siri replies to his thanks with “You’re welcome Mr. Presidente’.”
The video was made by Castro, and played at Gridiron, an annual event held by the San Antonio chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
