The projects are like Disney World high on fundamentalist Christianity! The same visionaries who brought "The Creation Museum" to fruition have a theme park complex planned around a large ark that Noah seems to have misplaced after ‘the Great Flood.’
The existing Creation Museum "Brings the pages of the Bible to life." For example, Adam and Eve are always at home – in Eden, their kids have pet dinosaurs, and the wily serpent can be seen in the special apple tree of knowing too much, or something to that effect. "Noah’s Park" will be no less literally Christian in theme.
All of this ‘educational, wholesome fun’ raises questions in the hearts of the heathen, and those who happen to ascribe to other spiritual outlooks, yet still pay taxes. Kentucky taxes will provide $37 million dollars toward funding the project. Would the same unquestioning enthusiasm be shown if people of the Muslim, Hindu, or even Catholic faiths request public money to promote their own dogmatic fun-parks?
