Are the 35 women stepping up to say Bill Cosby either tried or did drug and rape them all lying? Wait! It could be that there are only 34 so far which changes everything.
The Nightly Show tonight discussed why so many people refuse to believe Bill Cosby did what he did. Is it because we just can’t trust women to tell the truth? Is it race? Is it time? It is like Salem? Larry Wilmore finally arrives at the right answer at the end of the show. It’s because Bill Cosby is not Bill Cosby but rather he is Dr Huxtable, and Dr Huxtable can do no wrong.
This is the second night in a row it the show has had four African Americans and a token white person saying stuff WHITE PEOPLE MOST DON’T WANT TO HEAR. Add a bit of cerebral content and the question comes, will any white people at all watch it? You can bet your plastic Jesus that no white person South of Cincinnati will be watching.
The best part of the show is Larry Wilmore’s opening monologue which Viacom does not present. Though you can watch it at the The Nightly Show website by clicking on FULL EPISODE and then just quitting out. Yesterday Viacom removed the opening night monologue from YOUTUBE only minutes after it was posted. Today I find Viacom is putting up these one minute blurbs on YOUTUBE, though they do now present the lengthy panel videos at the website. Panel discussions don’t work very well in this format as they run too long. But it’s early yet, I hope they decide to get those official Larry Wilmore monologues up on Youtube. It will help the show, Comedy Central and those whores at Viacom.
