“If these young, hot little girls on campus have a firearm, I wonder how many men will want to assault them, the sexual assaults that are occurring would go down once these sexual predators get a bullet in their head.” Nevada Assembly woman Michele Foire on her bill for concealed weapons on campus.
That got a lot of press, which is strange in that here in Texas we have the Governor, the Lt Governor and the Attorney General going two steps further than that. Not concealed carry on campus, but Open Carry on Campus with no license or permit. Though they did not mention defense of rape, or how much more fun keg parties would be if everyone had an assault rifle AND a pistol.
But back to Michele Foire. Love that gold AK47 lamp in her office hey? She’s new, has only been in office since 2013 and in that time by standing arm in arm with Cliven Bundy threatening to shoot to kill any federal agents coming on his property, she became popular enough to become Republican Majority leader of the Nevada Assembly.
Though she ran into trouble just last November when it was found she had not paid over a million dollars in back taxes. She was then removed as Majority Leader and from her chairmanship of the Taxation Committee.
But the coup de grace was this one just a few weeks ago:
“If you have cancer, which I believe is a fungus, and we can put a pic line into your body and we’re flushing, let’s say, salt water, sodium carbonate through that line, and flushing out the fungus…” Nevada Assembly woman Michele Foire pushing her Cancer relief bill through the state assembly.
Oh almost forgot, that million dollars she owes in taxes? That’s from profit she made as CEO from her present HOME HEALTH CARE company that wants to sell salt to cancer patients.
The bite of this story for me and any Christians reading this is that Ms Foire – who is an advocate for gay marriage and legalization of pot – means that if we follow The Stupid back to the end of the road in her case we end up with Ayn Rand rather than Jesus Christ. Which as KIND OF PERSON goes, is worse. See, I do say nice things about Christians.
