Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has been a homophobe all her life until last Sunday morning, but we should not single her out when most all Republicans have been homophobes all their lives until last Sunday Morning. Anderson Cooper did single her but only as an example of yet another nail in the coffin that holds the Republican Party brand. It’s stacking up with little recovery in sight.
The homophopia, the nativism, the racism, the Christian intolerance, the guns and the billionaire now packaging it all into one big ugly orange slop pail with no end in sight. Which only makes Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, immigrants, women, the young, smart people and the quickly growing number of NONES rejecting all of it.
And we haven’t even got to the core matter of Republicans attacking government, taxes and regulations only to increase the disparity of wealth and make themselves ever richer. Once that truth finally sets in along with the rest it, it could very well mean lights out for the GOP.
Now factor in the elephant in the room, a soon to be 5 to 4 liberal Supreme Court [and probable 6 to 3 soon after] to take away the GOP’s three aces in the hole: Voter Suppression, Gerrymandering and Citizen’s United. BOOM BOOM BOOM OUT GO THE LIGHTS.
Many of us have been waiting for this since January 21, 1981, a very long time.
