If the hypocrisy of that sets you back also remember that UT and other Texas universities affirmative action plans were changed well before her 2008 lawsuit to admit only the top 10% of Texas high school graduating classes which Abrigail Fisher did not meet.
No matter, the Republican Party including those on the Supreme Court want very much to give African Americans another direct slap in the face before the coming election to help get out the vote. They can’t help themselves, it’s who they are. It’s what they do. It’s why they are still around.
But one thing is sure, the name that will go down in history as causing the most harm to the African American community since Jefferson Davis will not be Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, Sam Alito, Edward Blum or Ward Connerly, it will be Abrigail Fisher whose name will be forever enshrined in Abrigail Fisher vs University of Texas at Austin.
