A clothing store in Madrid learned that no challenge is too extreme to present to their customers when free clothing is the reward. We have just taken note of the pantsless light rail ride in Seattle. The underwear-clad passengers rode just for the fun of it. It is no surprise then, that Madrid shoppers camped overnight to be one of the first 100 through the door to receive a free pair of pants and a shirt – while obviously in immediate need of them. Apparently nudity is no detriment in the 21st Century. We’ve ‘come a long way baby,’ but is it forward or backward ?
