It’s time to take a little trip down memory lane with Jeb Bush, and see how he stands on women’s issues, crime and punishment and the welfare state…Or how he stood when he made these idiotic proclamations. LadyPartsJustice makes humorous videos of Republican presidential candidates, using nothing but the words that fell out of their own stupid mouths and hilarious photos. You don’t expect Jeb to stand by what he said in 1994 or even 2015. This is an election!
This one is brilliant. In 1995, Jeb Bush solved the problem of women who find themselves in financial difficulty by strongly advising: “Women on welfare should be able to get their life together and find a husband.” Such simple elegance.
How about this? In 2013 Jeb claimed: “Immigrants are more fertile.” Remind me, please – how many children do Jeb and his wife have?
In 2003 Bush crowed: “I’m probably the most pro-life governor in modern times.” Bush was a strong advocate of capital punishment, 21 prisoners were executed during his term. To be fair, if one of those prisoners had been a fetus, I’m certain it would have won a stay from the governor.
This one’s for you, Bristol Palin – yes, You! While Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush passed a bill shaming unwed mothers.
In 2001, Bush allowed a provision requiring any woman (even rape victims) who wanted to put her baby up for adoption, but didn’t know who the father was, to take out an ad in a local newspaper..Yes, a newspaper! She was obligated to publish her name and description, as well as the name and description of each possible father and – the locations where the baby could have been conceived. TRULY. Adoptions plummeted, abortions climbed. Go figure.
There is so much more on the video, I cherry picked only a few of my personal favorites to share with you.
To keep up with Jeb! #jebberish
