At first glance it looks like a classic postcard snow scene, the trees, homes and ground blanketed in the white cover. A much closer look reveals thousands of busy, and harmless wolf spiders! Flooding has forced them to seek dry ground, just as 8,000 people did – there is no word as to how many people fled the spiders alone.
