Bipartisanship
Well I hope that with Republican Senator Judd Gregg giving President Obama the bird after asking him to run the Department of Commerce, that our very naive President has finally come to terms with all his crazy bipartisan bullcrap. This is the third time he reached out and was served the Republican bird in as many weeks. It is now time for him to get off the campaign trail rhetoric and model his politics on that of Newt Gingrich, Tom DeLay and Karl Rove. Republicans do not want, nor do they deserve President Obama’s hand other than the back of it sharply across their face. It’s really quite simple, being from Texas I have the right name to go with the process, if you want to be fair in politics do what Tom DeLay would do.
Intelligent Design
Less than half of Americans accept evolution. In the industrialized
world we rate last, just before Turkey. The 33 countries ahead of us
are – not surprisingly – also ahead of us in science and math scores. When
the question is more generally worded without the Genesis time line,
those favoring God over Darwin its closer to 80% of us who live in some sort of Taliban Lite world…
Conservative Republicans Senator Rick Santorum and President George W Bush appointed conservative Republican Federal Judge John Jones to the federal bench in Pennsylvania. Both Santorum and Bush have loudly backed teaching creationism (Intelligent Design) in public school science classes.
After Judge John Jones passed down his decision on the Dover case – which harshly held that Intelligent Design was religion only pretending to be science – and as such Intelligent Design is religion and not science, that it has no business AT ALL in public school science classes, the American Jesus faction of the Taliban made poopoo.
After the decision Judge Jones, the ACLU, and the parent teacher families who were the plaintiffs in the case began receiving more death threats from the followers of Jesus Christ than before. The case becoming national news found the followers of Jesus Christ from all over the nation were lining up to threaten these people and their families. It’s what Jesus stands for you know. Threatening harm to the families of anyone who doesn’t listen to him properly.
In a very short time, the trial gained enough national exposure to make Dover, Pennsylvania look like Hillbilly Holler. To pull themselves out of the negative celebrity the people of Dover quickly voted ALL the morons, who had not already slithered out of town dodging perjury charges, off the school board. The response was quick:

I was asked today to tone down my rant from yesterday. Perhaps that is good advice.
Rather than use foul language or finger pointing I think I came up with a kinder gentler response. When one of these morons gets in the way, just be nice and say…
There is no law against being a moron. Nor is there any law that very stupid parents cannot bring their children up to be even more stupid than they are. In fact, not only is the point of their family dynamics keeping the moron gene growing through future generations [after all, having kids smarter than you can be embarrassing] but it gives my smart kids an advantage.
And please, this is not personal to me! I have nothing against Hillbillies. Some of my fondest memories are from the days Bubba, Amohead and I would grab a few mason jars of shine, a couple flashlights, some loud dogs along with an arsenal of weapons and stay out all night shooting critters and what have you. It has produced some of the most entertaining stories in my life! Like that time we treed Bubba’s grandmother.
But…
There is a law that says morons cannot FORCE those OUTSIDE their families to be morons too. Its a simple concept one would think even morons would understand. Teach your children poorly, but hands off anyone elses.
