Here’s a little video, just one of many that you’re not likely to see on Fox "news" this week. Beck having been asked to attend "Glenn Beck Day" by Mayor Nichols received little love back ‘home’ but did motivate the small town city council into unprecidented speedy action! Never having awarded or lauded anyone from the city, they were not about to have Beck be the first, and drafted a resolution stating they did not recognize or support the mayor’s delusion. Hence, the award ceremony was held behind closed and locked doors.
The day wasn’t a wash-out for the emotional Beck. His people had apparently arranged a rather hush-hush rally at Seattle’s Safeco field, where scarcely a liberal was to be found outside the gates protesting, and all inside the stadium were cheering and booing at all of the appropriate moments. It’s safe to say
Beck won’t go "home" again, and this is the mayor’s last term in office. I hope he received a lovely parting gift.
