In about 10 years these self driving wussy cars will do to Uber what Uber did to cab drivers these past couple years, though I do wonder if fleets of self driving cabs will bring back the heavy drinking culture of our past. And who cleans the throw up? And the peeing and pooping. People will be peeing and pooping in them. And sex! Like moving little motel rooms. Perhaps they will be nicknamed Little Hummers.
But wait. These cars will know who you are, have your credit card and have video of you and your pickup point / destination. Will there be live video monitoring by fleet managers? Can these cars be used for driveby shootings? Do the windows go down? What about the sound system? What’s to stop you from smoking? Will they sell beer? So many sheep so little time…
