He is A-GIN it! What is it that can cause people to actually go to this scumbag’s church and listen to his hateful swill? What is it that turns people into intolerant hate filled bigots? What can it be that takes standard but kindly ignorant Southerners and turn into ignorant a wholes? What has that power? Whatever it is, it is doing this nation – and this world – far more bad than good.
Over the past generation or so, – since the rise of Jerry Falwell and company using it as a political tool to promote Right-wing extremism – the word RELIGION has become synonymous with bigotry, intolerance and more pushing out more hate than love.
In the last 10 years twice as many people have run away from it than ever before, which is on the upswing. It has gotten so bad that when someone says they are a Christian all that comes to mind is close minded a whole rather than close minded nitwit.
