Why is this no surprise? Killing is what the NRA is all about. Instead of gardening, or Star Trek, or canoeing these are people whose primary mission in life are machines that make killing easy enough to kill even for a three year old.
The NRA argument is that if Pennsylvania makes the SPORT of shooting boxed pigeons illegal where will it stop? Ah, the slippery slope! No more shooting boxed pheasants? Maybe even make it against the law for Ted Nugent to buy exotic animals he fences off to shoot with machine guns?
Speaking of which. in his book, GOD, GUNS and ROCK & ROLL Ted Nugent brags about shooting lots of cats and dogs. He says he does it as a favor for his neighbors and all Americans by ridding our nation of an epidemic of distemper and rabies. Ted Nugent also brags he gets a stiffy from machine gunning down animals. Ted Nugent was asked to campaign for Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas because here in Texas Ted Nugent is an NRA hero. You know, covering himself in poop and phis and pretending to be gay so not to go to the Vietnam War which he supported. If the GOP takes the Senate I am sure we will see Ted Nugent testifying as an expert on Senate panels. Along with Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.
